Thermal Sweeping

Thermal sweeping provides a look into interior walls, and allows us to detect any moisture problems without using any invasive measures. We conduct thermal sweeping at every inspection, which is included in the base price. This service is completely exclusive to ManHatton Home Inspections, and sets apart from our competitors.

Manufactured Timber Homes

In addition to our base home inspection services, we are equipped to inspect any home built with manufactured timbers, such as log cabins. We are experienced in detecting the certain defects that log built homes may develop, such as shrinkage, defective materials, and wood destroying organisms.

WHY ARE HOME

INSPECTIONS SO IMPORTANT?

  1.  It may provide an ‘out’ for the home buyer. A complete home inspection report could potentially give you enough reasons NOT to go ahead with the deal!

  2. They are relatively inexpensive to get. As mentioned earlier, the cost of having a home inspection is minuscule compared to the price of the house you’re about to buy!

  3.  An inspection can reveal potential safety issues. Buying a property without having a home inspection is almost the same as driving your car blindfolded!

  4.  An inspection may reveal poorly constructed additions. A home addition can be very attractive, but if built without the proper skill, it can be an issue in the future.

  5. An inspection report can be very useful when negotiating the price of the home. Having a full home inspection report will allow you to negotiate from a point of strength!

  6.  Peace of mind. The next 15+ years of payments could transform into a money pit without proper knowledge of the home and its potential.
